My passion for art actually started during a separate art course as part of the medical curriculum. We studied anatomy and started drawing specific body parts. I then entered a competition for an art placement in Italy, where I realised my art had some potential.
However, I was fortunate enough to grow up in an adventurous family. From visiting countries all over the world, I had the chance to capture a variety of wildlife.
From the Brazilian savannahs to the forests of Borneo, I started learning how to transform pictures of wildlife that I had taken into art forms that I could create.
And so, it's this underlying connection with nature that brings me to create and build upon my art portfolio in the future, inspired by our natural world.
